The tug
Ryan Leet is in port probably for one of its regular, fuel/stores/crew change visits. The tug is tasked with standby duties off Sable Island. It only comes to port about once a month, usually toward the 28th.
Also in port is a rarer caller, Atlantic Towing Ltd's
Atlantic Hawk. Built by Halifax Shipyard in 2000, it was the second of four big suppliers from the yard. It normally works off Newfoundland
.
I had been assuming that Atl.Hawk was on the return trip from towing GSF Grand Banks from Nfld down south.
ReplyDeleteToday it looks like she's out working around the Encana field...AIS shows her and Condor together offshore.
The Ryan Leet is now offhire from Encana, it is currently on Maintenance in Mulgrave. The Atlantic Hawk is filling in for the Atlantic Tern while it is being outfitted with a DP System.
